It’s my birthday next month and as a present to myself I’m doing a big “solo show” May 14 at Joe’s Pub with some of my very favorite NYC artists: Ned Rothenberg, Terry Dame, Sonny Singh, Adam Matta, Rachelle Garniez, Rachel Price and Xavier Smith.
I will be presenting an expanded version of the SxipenspieI. I also have a new device called a gravity marble tree… and a perfect Sam Cook styled R & B tune to be sung by Xavier. I am going to do “Ring My Bell” with Rachel Price and I’ll be performing an improv piece with the amazing Ned Rothenberg. PLUS, I do a rendition of a composition by Shelley Segal.
